[AstroPy] Version No. for IRAF Software?

Hi all,

it sure is nice to see that this [AstroPy] is an active mailing  
list ... but isn't this slightly off-topic ?
I would humbly suggest to post somewhat more precise questions, after  
a detailed study of manuals etc...

Let's discuss this openly, feel free to tell me your opinions.

PS : concerning IRAF : installing, learning, using, then citing takes  
a year, but otherwise it would be just name-dropping, wouldn't it ?
