No so distant future.
Yes, we quickly spoke about it. The new unpublished roadmap is here :

It should mainly be the job of Thomas that should arrives soon in the US.
 - Drop 2.6
 - Drop 3.2
 - Drop 2to3

I think we will more do it along the way to 2.0 than in a pig PR that make all 2 and 3 compatible, 
like we don't want a single commit that makes everything pep-8 compliant (or it is painful for git-blame)
