Hi,

yes, Philip is a great and very thoughtful guy. I met him years ago
when he was a PhD student and our conversations on this topic started
back then; he creatively ran with some ideas from those conversations
and did great work. HIs recollections can be found in his little
memoir (p64 and elsewhere):
