[IPython-user] Using ipython as a bash replacement

Hello again,

I'd like to configure ipython to complete filenames on the local
filesystem.  I have checked my ipythonrc and I do not see a readline
config command to disable completion of filenames; furthermore,
ipython does in fact complete variable names, and other things
pythonic.  I am using:

Debian 'testing'
ipython version 0.4.0-1.1
python version 2.3.3-7
gnu readline lib version 4.3-10 ("libreadline4" package)

Any ideas?
