Anyone who can help me with this one?  Is there a way to disable beeping under 
win32?

I have Windows XP (normal, not CygWin) and the latest
version of IPython on Python 2.4.2. IPython beeps when some
actions are done (like pressing Tab with no possible
auto-completion). This is SUPER ANNOYING since it happens a
lot. Please add an option to disable it.

There are some (unofficial) options to disable the PC
speaker in Windows. I have enabled them but apparently they
don't work for all applications.
