What you should do instead is to create ipy_profile_sigproc.py.
ipythorc-sicproc approach is pretty much deprecated. Take a look at
ipy_profile_sh.py for an example.

There, you can do ip.ex("pyaudio import wavread").

This doesn't mean that I won't apply your patch, of course.
