[IPython-user] svn install fails on python2.3

Just updated ipython svn and am getting an install failure with
python2.3 with the metaprogamming usage in rehash_dir

byte-compiling
/home/titan/johnh/local/lib/python2.3/site-packages/IPython/Extensions/rehash_dir.py
to rehash_dir.pyc
