Thanks for this: Jorgen Stenarson is the maintainer for pyreadline, so I'm 
hoping that he can provide you some feedback on the issue when he gets a 
chance.  Don't worry, your mail made it to the list and he's here as well, so 
I'm sure we'll hear from him later on.
