Now you can do "IPython here" from win32 file explorer, quite like the
popular "Command prompt here" extension.

Get:

http://ipython.scipy.org/svn/ipython/ipython/trunk/doc/examples/ipython_here_shell_extension.reg

Fix the paths if needed.

Ensure that c:\python25\scripts is on your path.

double-click the .reg file to merge the feature to your registry.

Right click on some folder and choose "IPython here"
