[IPython-user] implementing non-blocking thread execution for something other than toolkits

Hi all,

I have been using ipython's support of -wthread to great effect.
Another area where this sort of non-blocking thread execution would be
very handy is with web servers.

Can anyone point me to how I would go about implementing this?  I will
have a look at the -(q[4]|w|g)thread code, but are there any initial
pointers that will make that code more comprehensible?  I am very new
to threads, so any help is appreciated.
