[IPython-user] use cygwin shell from !command in ipython inside cmd console window?

Hi,


While running IPython from the usual cmd console on Windows, when I do

In[99]: !dir

it executes the system command using the cmd console. Is it possible to  
make this use the cygwin bash shell instead of the cmd console shell  
(cmd.exe)? Note that this is different from running IPython from within  
cygwin, which I can't do for other reasons.
