[IPython-user] history and cpaste/edit

Hi,

Is there a way to let the commands that i enter via %cpaste or %editor show up in history. My workflow is often as follows (for data analysis):
-insert code snippets from other programm via %cpaste or %editor
-plot some results
-if i like them, save the log via %edit 1-lastline

However the commands inserted with %cpaste or %editor are not listed in the history. So i have to search for the code snippets again and insert them manually in the logfile. 
It would be nice to have these code snippets in the history. Is there a way to do it?
