Hi,
I can't really help with uninstalling (but here is a patch which should
fix spyder:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=5;filename=fix-ipython.patch;att=1;bug=636726

I would advise to install new software in a virtualenv
(http://pypi.python.org/pypi/virtualenv) to test it.
that makes uninstalling much easier, you just remove the whole
virtualenv folder.
