You could install IPython 0.11 into a virtualenv to get an idea of
what it installs where, and then go and delete those things and remove
them, and install IPython 0.10.2 again.

Likely you just need to delete the
/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/IPython directory, though.
