Hi Paul,

Well, I did:

[homelap-3:~] comerduncan% rm -fr ~/.ipython
[homelap-3:~] comerduncan% ipython notebook --profile=sympy
[NotebookApp] Profile u'sympy' not found.
[homelap-3:~] comerduncan% ipython --profile=sympy -c "print 1"
[TerminalIPythonApp] Staging bundled ipython_config.py from sympy into
u'/Users/comerduncan/.config/ipython/profile_sympy'

[homelap-3:~] comerduncan% ipython notebook --profile=sympy
[NotebookApp] Using existing profile dir:
u'/Users/comerduncan/.config/ipython/profile_sympy'
[NotebookApp] The IPython Notebook is running at: http://127.0.0.1:8888
[NotebookApp] Use Control-C to stop this server and shut down all kernels.
[NotebookApp] Using MathJax from CDN
[NotebookApp] Kernel started: d973b640-834d-4f9d-b75f-6cbab060ebd3

[NotebookApp] Connecting to: tcp://127.0.0.1:57490
[NotebookApp] Connecting to: tcp://127.0.0.1:57492
[IPKernelApp] To connect another client to this kernel, use:
[IPKernelApp] --existing kernel-d973b640-834d-4f9d-b75f-6cbab060ebd3.json
--profile sympy
[NotebookApp] Using existing kernel: d973b640-834d-4f9d-b75f-6cbab060ebd3
[NotebookApp] Connecting to: tcp://127.0.0.1:57489
[NotebookApp] Connecting to: tcp://127.0.0.1:57490

So, it worked! Thanks for the suggestions.

If I want to use CDN for MathJax (like I do on my blog), how would I do
that for ipython notebooks?

Thanks again.

Comer
