[IPython-User] Notebook ceased to work - update 2

I disabled the Firewall, the Anti-Virus.
I checked whether this ASLR-feature might be active for python or ipython. It is not, as far as I can tell.

Now, from time to time, apparently one command gets through leading to the following debug output (sorry for the awkward line breaks)

[NotebookApp] Connecting to: tcp://127.0.0.1:51937

The prompt switches to [1], but when I issue the next command or try a Tab-completion I get a popup saying:
"Websocket connection closed unexpectedly.
The kernel will no longer be responsive."

I also installed the current version of Chrome. The results are the same as with Firefox.

Sorry for pestering you with so many mails, but the IPython notebook is *the* perfect analysis tool for me, and I do not want to change back to scripts and Word.
However, I need to fix that problem quickly, because reports are due.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yours

Thomas
