[IPython-User] Command-line manipulation of notebooks (remove output).

Hi,

Is there a simple way to manipulate notebook files from the command  
line?  I would like to have a hook that removes output before  
committing changes to a version control system for example.  I imagine  
that somewhere inside ipython can manipulate these files, but have not  
found out where yet.
