Hello,
and again many thanks to matthias who kindly
answer to my questions.
Just a few words to tell you that I finally got it.
But the following command still refuse to work in
my computer :

![alt text][files/haricot_commun_frais_nu-1.jpg ]

But I have got the image with a html line :

<img src="files/haricot_commun_frais_nu-1.jpg" />

So I think it is important for the beginners to
emphasize on the right syntax with an s at files.
and no colon :

But why the markdown command still refuse to work
is quite unclear to me.

The only other difference with your email is that
I am not using a profile and ec2 in launching the
kernel.

I just use :
ipython notebook

or

ipython notebook --pylab=inline

Do you think my installation is wrong?

Best regards
