Figured out my error: I wrote readline_<span style="font-weight: bold;">parser</span>_and_bind instead of readline_parse_and_bind.<br>
Tried it and it works beautifully.<br>
Now it's much more like bash, perhaps these bindings should be turned on by default?<br>
