For some time, my IPython profile has not been loading, which has perplexed and annoyed me.  I finally figured out that it was because an error was being raised when executing it .<div><br></div><div>Is there a reason why this error wasn&#39;t shown to me when loading IPython?  It seems that &quot;errors should never pass silently.&quot;</div>
