[Numpy-discussion] problem with poisson generators

Hi,
This seems more and more like some coding problem.  The fact that
everything you have tried seems to work especially replacing the
ranlib generator with R's (using the standalone library  just avoids
the calls to R).  I am not an expert in this but it seems that your
code may not be correctly calling things correctly.

Perhaps you should find the types of the variables like Lpos_esp as
this really should be an C int.

Also, if it remains a problem I wouldn't mind seeing the values and
types of the variables  used to compute Lpos_esp.
