I am trying to install numpy on my Apple Powerbook G4 running OS X
Tiger (10.4.7).
I am running ActivePython 2.4.3. Installing the numPy package seems
to work fine but
when I try to import it I get the following:

/Users/tgrav --> python
ActivePython 2.4.3 Build 11 (ActiveState Software Inc.) based on
Python 2.4.3 (#1, Apr  3 2006, 18:07:18)

How can I remedy this problem?

Cheers
