[Numpy-discussion] PyArray_ISSTRING

I am running NumPy 0.9.6 on Mac OS X.  When I try to
use the API function PyArray_ISSTRING I get:

   `PyArray_UCHAR' undeclared

In fact I cannot see where PyArray_UCHAR is ever declared.
