Yeah, good point. I installed 1.0.1 from binary from Debian sid. Maybe
a chart of which configurations have the problem and which don't would
help.

If the problem is ATLAS I don't understand why test1 passes. Could the
loading of the values be the problem and not the multiplication
itself?
