[Numpy-discussion] Numpy on AIX 5.3

Hi!

I'm trying to install numpy-1.1 on AIX 5.3 but i'm getting an error:

TypeError: can only concatenate list (not "str") to list

Setting CXX=xlc++_r (which is proper C++ compiler) does not work. How to fix 
this?
