Here is a DirectX Compute tutorial I found:

It pretty much says all we need to know. I am not investing any of my
time learning that shitty API. Period.
Lets just hope OpenCL makes it to Windows without Microsoft breaking it
for "security reasons" (as they did with OpenGL).
