Hi,

You can create a setup.py file containing

def configuration(parent_package='',top_path=None):
     from numpy.distutils.misc_util import Configuration
     config = Configuration(None,parent_package,top_path)
     config.add_library('flib', sources = [test.f95])
     config.add_extension('ctest', sources = ['ctest.c'], 
libraries=['flib'])
     return config

if __name__ == "__main__":
     from numpy.distutils.core import setup
     setup(configuration=configuration)

#eof

Running

   python setup.py config_fc --fcompiler=gnu95 build

will build a Fortran library flib.a and link it to
an extension module ctest.so. Use build_ext --inplace
if ctest.so should end up in current working directory.

Is that what you wanted to achieve?
