do you mean a time delay? If so -- numpy doesn't (and shouldn't) have
such a thing.
however, the time module has time.sleep()
whether it's a good idea to use that depends on your context -- for a
simple script, maybe. If your code is running in a GUI or something,
then probably not, look at your GUI toolkit's options for timers, etc.
