Because Stephan and myself are unable to reproduce the problem running
linux, I think we need more info. Are you running a 32bit or a 64bit
distro? Do you have Intel/AMD hardware? Is this specific to Ubuntu Dapper
or have you tried other distros on that machine? Did it work before or did
the problems suddenly turn up when you installed a later version? What
compiler are you using, f77 or gfortran?
This is a bit of a puzzle and I suspect an incompatibility somewhere.
