 OK, the original test was buggy, and the "fix" was worse. To atone for my
 sins, I have sent a much better patch to Travis O. for further refinement.
 Also, I have updated the patch containing the test "test_repr_bug.patch".
 ( Please ignore test_and_fix_scalar_repr_bug.patch )
