 Attached patch allows numpy to work on freebsd. Note that it will still
 compile
 without the patch, but tests fail and it is not usable. There's also a
 similar
 [http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/math/py-numpy/files/patch-
 numpy-core-include-numpy-ufuncobject.h patch] in freebsd ports but it
 doesn't fix all problems. Patch was written
 by Joe Peterson.
