Comment:

 I tried r5664 and it didn't work either. I did get some more output.
 However, the same problem still exists. I'll put the new output in an
 attachment to this ticket.

 Note that for Numpy 1.0.3.1 it works fine and for r5664 of 1.1.x branch it
 doesn't. I can't check 1.2 trunk, since that branch is not Python 2.3
 compatible.

 PS: maybe it's a good idea not to close the ticket until the original
 reporter has checked it and confirmed that it works?
