#672: Fatal Python error: PyEval_RestoreThread: NULL tstate
-------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
 Reporter: ggenellina | Owner: cdavid
     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: normal | Milestone: 1.0.5
Component: Official binaries | Version:
 Severity: normal | Keywords:
-------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
This looks like an error in NumPy, altough I've found it using matplotlib.
With Windows XP SP2, Python 2.5.1 from www.python.org, NumPy 1.0.4,
matplotlib 0.91.2, all installed using the distributed binaries.

All matplotlib examples fail with an application error box, and this
 message:

"""Fatal Python error: PyEval_RestoreThread: NULL tstate

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more
  information."""

The error happens inside _dotblas.pyd. Downgrading to NumPy 1.0.3.1 fixed
 the problem.
