 Most of it's done, I was just hoping Pearu would find the time to fix up a
 bit that needs a deeper familiarity with f2py than I have. It's part of a
 larger patch where I have done the same for the rest of the code in Numpy.
 I'm thinking of putting the rest in without this, so yes, we can skip it
 for 1.7.

 I'm thinking there is a solid 1-2 mos of work before 1.7 will be ready.
