Scipy pays much attention to wxWindows and none to FLTK which is probably a better back end, in that it does its own drawing AND has tight integration with OpenGL. In fact it can run inside an OpenGL window (like GLUT) but is not constrained to do so, running equally well in Win32 or X or Quartz. http://www.FLTK.org Mark
