I am running Python 2.3.2 (GCC 3.3.2) on Debian sid and the above
two lines work ok. However, weave.test(10,2) segfaults at running

  test_scxx_object.test_object_print

Hidding _bsddb.so does not prevent the segfault that I am getting above.
