[SciPy-dev] Problems with compilling a bjam under ubuntu

I know, that this could be a lil bit offtopic, but maybe not.

I have to compile c++-Library under ubuntu with boost.python.
Did anyone worked like this too? There always appears a warning, that no
Jamfile can be found.

If this is senseless noise in the mailing-list i am really sry, but i
didn't find any solution until now.
