I've recently found a Blitz++ competitor:

I think one of the main FLENS plus is:
http://flens.sourceforge.net/session1/tut8.html

which can lead to speedups at almost only ... compiler effort.

The question is:

is Blitz++ so smart?

and, if not I'd like a weave developer opinion about a possible
weave.flens module (module I can try to develop :P).
