Thanks. I've opened a new ticket
(http://projects.scipy.org/scipy/ticket/1601) so it's not forgotten
and will see whether I can understand how to hardcode something in the
meantime.

It's really refreshing to build Scipy *quickly* with Bento on a
multi-core machine!
