 Timing it, it appears that `jn` is slower than `jv` for n >= 3. Since it
 special-cases n=0,1,2, its method is slower overall. `jn` ''only'' uses
 backward recurrence, with a fixed number of recurrence steps; `jv` uses
 several different methods, and seems to do a better job of checking the
 accuracy.

 I'd say we should just remove the wrapper of `jn`, and make it an alias
 for `jv`.
