#535: scipy.stats.norm.stats() leaks memory
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
 Reporter:  foobaron     |        Owner:  somebody
     Type:  defect       |       Status:  new
 Priority:  normal       |    Milestone:  0.7.0
Component:  scipy.stats  |      Version:  0.5.2
 Severity:  normal       |   Resolution:
 Keywords:  memory leak  |

Comment (by keoki):

 I tried to replicate this using scipy (0.6.0) and do not see the memory
 leak.
 python version is:
 Python 2.5.2 (r252:60911, Jul 31 2008, 17:31:22)
 under ubuntu hardy 64 bit.

 Replying to [ticket:535 foobaron]:
 > Simply creating a stats.norm object and calling its stats() method
 repeatedly causes memory usage to increase without bound, on both OS X and
 linux 2.6.20-1.2962.fc6xen. See version details below. I don't know
 whether the problem is in scipy or in some dependency in numpy...
