#1175: Return iteration count for iterative linear system methods

Currently, only the final solution and an info code are return values for
an iterative method like CG or GMRES. It would be more convenient for the
user if these functions also returned the iteration count and the
reduction in the residual norm, possibly as optional return values.

It is possible to extract both of these values using an appropriate
'callback()' function passed to the method, but this is a cumbersome
approach when the data is already available through the iterative.py file,
and used by the solvers themselves.
