#1503: isolve and arpack test failures on OS X
---------------------------------+------------------------------------------
 Reporter:  rgommers             |       Owner:  wnbell
     Type:  defect               |      Status:  new
 Priority:  normal               |   Milestone:  0.10.0
Component:  scipy.sparse.linalg  |     Version:  0.9.0
 Keywords:                       |
---------------------------------+------------------------------------------

Comment(by rgommers):

 In [11]: dump = np.load('dump.npz')

 In [12]: dump.items()
 Out[12]:
 Attached the dump.npz, the contents look like:
 {{{
 [('A',
   array([[ 2.527,  1.764,  1.609,  1.02 ,  2.553,  1.047],
        [ 1.764,  1.926,  1.865,  0.851,  2.087,  1.408],
        [ 1.609,  1.865,  2.597,  0.877,  2.313,  1.883],
        [ 1.02 ,  0.851,  0.877,  0.777,  1.019,  0.895],
        [ 2.553,  2.087,  2.313,  1.019,  2.954,  1.496],
        [ 1.047,  1.408,  1.883,  0.895,  1.496,  2.008]])),
  ('b',
   array([-0.006+0.09j ,  0.034+0.022j, -0.008-0.017j,  0.016+0.043j,
 -0.009-0.006j,
        -0.047+0.01j ], dtype=complex64))]
 }}}

 After making the changes as suggested on lines 929, 960 {{{2 *
 np.finfo...}}} the test passes. Is that a good change to make, or just a
 way to test the problem?
