Comment:

 Ok, I tried to follow the instructions and hope, the file, I attached is
 useful.

 I am not sure, if all the numpy methods are available by default in
 zeros.py (I only need the sign()-method).

 Furthermore, I am not sure, if this works correctly for complex functions,
 I only tested it with functions taking real numbers.

 I never worked with git so far, so I hope I did it correct.
