#1527: stats.kruskal not working as advertised
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
 Reporter:  ckuster      |       Owner:  somebody
     Type:  defect       |      Status:  new
 Priority:  normal       |   Milestone:  Unscheduled
Component:  scipy.stats  |     Version:  0.9.0
 Keywords:               |
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------

Comment(by warren.weckesser):

 A slight clarification: the bug is that the function does not work if you
 pass *lists* as arguments. It does handle numpy arrays (which have the
 tolist() method):
 {{{
 In [14]: import numpy as np

 In [15]: from scipy import stats

 In [16]: s1 = np.array([60.8, 67.0, 65.0, 68.6, 61.7])

 In [17]: s2 = np.array([68.7, 67.7, 75.0, 73.3, 71.8])

 In [18]: s3 = np.array([69.6, 77.1, 75.2, 71.5])

 In [19]: s4 = np.array([61.9, 64.2, 63.1, 66.7, 60.3])

 In [20]: stats.kruskal(s1, s2, s3, s4)
 Out[20]: (13.389473684210529, 0.0038657624047977669)
 }}}
