 This is not the right function for a contingency table, unless you
 calculate expected frequencies yourself. Warren added a separate function
 for this, chi2_contingency.

 chisquare expects observed and expected frequencies, or if no expected
 frequencies are given then uniform distribution is assumed.

 In your example the test is that each column is uniformly distributed,
 that is expected count is the same in each row. So the number of tests is
 the same as the number of columns.
