 I also have the same issue. Just constructing a low pass filter with {{{b,
 a = butter(9, 0.03)}}} gives very different results from what I expect
 (the generated filter is useless as a low pass filter), i.e. matlab. Using
 the commenting-out-fix works splendidly, but it'd be better with an
 official fix.
