#1811: lognorm has parameters in the wrong order compared to norm
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
 Reporter:  rdw      |       Owner:  somebody
     Type:  defect   |      Status:  new
 Priority:  normal   |   Milestone:  Unscheduled
Component:  Other    |     Version:  0.11.0
 Keywords:  lognorm  |
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------

Comment(by jseabold):

 lognorm has a non-optional shape parameter as an argument.

 {{{
 [~/]
 [1]: from scipy.stats import norm, lognorm

 [~/]
 [2]: norm.numargs
 [2]: 0

 [~/]
 [3]: lognorm.numargs
 [3]: 1
 }}}

 See also the docstring of lognorm.

 In addition to the shape argument given to lognorm, you could also use the
 generic scale keyword argument that is available for all the
 distributions. In scipy.stats all distributions have both a location and a
 scale parameter. Others will also have shape parameters. See, for
 instance, http://www.itl.nist.gov/div898/handbook/eda/section3/eda3669.htm

 So the signature is actually something like

 {{{
 lognorm.pdf(x, shape, loc=mu, scale=scale)
 }}}
