Comment:

 Because there are no positional arguments named "n" and "p" in the method
 signature, that simply won't work. It's a consequence of the use of
 {{{*args}}}.

 The only way to fix it would be to split the {{{rv_}}} classes into
 different classes which are specific for the number of positional
 arguments, and then remove {{{*args}}}. This would be a lot of work, which
 I think isn't worth it unless it solves more issues than just this one.
