[SciPy-user] problems with scipy.io.readarray

I try to read a file into an array in with

from scipy import io
x=io.read_array('test.dat')

but get the following traceback

I used: SciPy-0_2_0_alpha_102_3553_win32-py2_2.exe on Win NT

Any idea what is going wrong?
